By completing your booking and making a payment, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Payment Structure
- Deposit: Upon booking, you are required to pay a deposit amounting to one-half (1/2) of the total retreat cost. The retreat cost will depend on the option you have chosen. This deposit secures your place.
- Your place is confirmed on receipt of your payment.
- Final Payment: The remaining one-half (1/2) of the retreat cost must be paid by 14th August 2024. This is the final deadline for payment. We will send you a payment link two weeks before the 14th August deadline.
- You also have the option to pay in full at checkout if that is preferable.
- Pricing options for main house:
- £1,800 per person sharing
- £2,200 private room for one
- Pricing options for Mimosa (smaller house):
- £1,800 per person sharing
- £2,200 private room for one
- Pricing options for Cabanas:
- £1,400 per person sharing
2. Deposit Policy
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- By paying the deposit, you enter into a legal commitment to complete the full payment as per the agreed schedule in section 1 above.
3. Booking Confirmation
- Your place is confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.
- Full payment reminder: We will send you a payment reminder two weeks before the 14th August deadline. This payment reminder will include all necessary payment details and contact information for any queries.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
- Prior to 11:59 pm on 2nd September 2024:
- If you cancel your booking before 11:59 pm on 2nd September 2024, your non-refundable deposit will be retained, but the remaining balance will be refunded.
- After 11:59 pm on 2nd September 2024:
- For cancellations after 11:59 pm on 2nd September 2024, no refunds will be issued for any reason.
We strongly recommend considering travel cancellation insurance to cover unexpected circumstances. This can be obtained through many banks, building societies, and credit card providers, as well as through the Post Office.
5. Non-Inclusion of Flights and Transfers
- Please note that the cost does not include flights or transfers. We can facilitate participants connecting with each other to arrange shared transfers if desired.
- Arrival is scheduled for 14th October 2024 at 3pm, and departure is on 18th October 2024 at 10:30am.
6. Image Rights
- All images of the location used on our website are copyrighted by Osa Major or Align Retreats and cannot be used without permission.
- In addition to our existing image rights policy, please be aware that The Re:Treat by Align Retreats will be documented through photographs and video recordings. These images and recordings may be used for promotional or archival purposes.
- Participant Appearance in Media: As a participant, you acknowledge that you may be included in such photographs and recordings. These images and videos may be used by The Re:Treat by Align Retreats for promotional purposes, on social media, websites, or other marketing materials.
- Opt-Out Option: If you prefer not to be captured in any photographs or video recordings, please inform the event organisers in advance or upon arrival at the retreat. We respect your privacy and will make reasonable efforts to exclude you from recordings where possible. However, please be aware that while we will do our best to accommodate your request, due to the nature of group activities and the general environment of the retreat, complete or comprehensive exclusion cannot be guaranteed.
- Use of Personal Media: Participants are welcome to take their own photographs or videos for personal use, but must respect the privacy and preferences of other participants. Any dissemination of such media for commercial or public purposes without the consent of the individuals included and The Re:Treat by Align Retreats is strictly prohibited.
7. Number of Guests
- To maintain an intimate and exclusive experience, our retreat is limited to 15 participants.
8. Code of Conduct for Participants
At The Re:Treat by Align Retreats, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone. To achieve this, we require all participants to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:
- Respect for Others: Treat all participants, staff, and local community members with respect, dignity, and courtesy. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Adhere to all local laws and regulations, as well as the rules set by the retreat venue. This includes, but is not limited to, regulations regarding alcohol consumption, smoking, and drug use.
- Participation and Punctuality: Engage in scheduled activities with a positive and open mindset. We encourage punctuality to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees.
- Noise and Quiet Hours: Respect the retreat’s quiet hours. Keep noise to a minimum during these times to ensure a peaceful environment for all participants.
- Safety and Health Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and health protocols outlined by the retreat. This includes adhering to guidelines related to physical activities and the use of retreat facilities.
- Environmental Responsibility: Be mindful of your environmental impact. Dispose of waste properly and respect the natural surroundings of the retreat location.
- Personal Responsibility: You are responsible for your belongings. The retreat will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal items. Travel insurance is recommended to help mitigate against such loss or damage.
- Conflict Resolution: If a conflict arises, approach it with a calm and open mind. Seek assistance from retreat staff if needed.
- Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in consequences determined appropriate by the retreat organisers, which could include a warning, removal from the retreat without a refund, or prohibition from attending future events.
9. Limitation of Liability
- General Limitation: The Re:Treat by Align Retreats, its organisers, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense suffered by a participant, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- Personal Injury and Health: Participants acknowledge that they are aware of the inherent risks involved with doing exercise and the activities offered at the retreat and assume full responsibility for any personal injury or health-related issues that may arise. We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses and personal injury.
- Property Damage: The Re:Treat by Align Retreats is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property belonging to the participants. Participants are advised to secure their valuables and consider insurance for personal items.
- External Circumstances: The Re:Treat by Align Retreats will not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout, or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.
- Travel and Transfer Arrangements: The Re:Treat by Align Retreats is not liable for any issues arising from travel and transfer arrangements to and from the retreat location. Participants are responsible for their travel and transfer arrangements and any associated risks.
- Limitation of Remedies: In the event of any dispute, the maximum liability of The Re:Treat by Align Retreats will be limited to the amount paid by the participant for the retreat. No claims for consequential or other damages will be entertained.
10. Acknowledgement of Terms
By proceeding with the booking and payment for The Re:Treat by Align Retreats, you, as the participant, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Understanding of Terms: You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions outlined in this document, including but not limited to the Payment Structure, Deposit Policy, Cancellation and Refunds, Non-Inclusion of Flights and Transfers, Image Rights, Number of Guests, Code of Conduct, and the Limitation of Liability Clause.
- Voluntary Participation: Your participation in the retreat is entirely voluntary, and you are fully aware of the nature and extent of all risks involved in the retreat activities.
- Accuracy of Information: All personal information provided by you for the purpose of booking is accurate, up to date, and complete.
- Health and Fitness: You confirm that you are medically, physically, and in all other aspects fit and capable of participating in the retreat. You have not been advised otherwise by a medical practitioner.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Re:Treat by Align Retreats, its organisers, staff, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, including legal fees and expenses, arising out of your violation of these terms and conditions, or any wrongful or negligent actions in your participation in the retreat.
- Changes to Terms: You acknowledge that The Re:Treat by Align Retreats reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and that updated versions will supersede all previous versions of these terms and conditions. Continued participation in the retreat after such changes will constitute your consent to such changes.
- By making a payment, you affirm that you have read this agreement, understand its contents, and agree to be bound by its terms. Your agreement to these terms is a precondition for your participation in the retreat.
